| Friends of Hemlock Bluffs members enjoy a 10% discount on all nature programs offered at Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve as well as purchases made in the Nature's Niche Gift Shop in the Stevens Nature Center. An individual membership will pay for itself with $150 spent at the Preserve or gift shop, or a family membership after $250 spent. While these totals seem high at first glance, consider the current cost of children's camps ($75 per child at least). Any family with children in camp or nature programs would not only save money by joining the Friends, but would also benefit their local nature preserve. |
