Each year, the Friends organize and conduct a community-wide Recycle Sale in the Outdoor Education Shelter at Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve. In past years, this giant yard sale has brought in more than $2,000 to help the Stevens Nature Center and the Nature Preserve in a little under five hours. As the sale approaches, begin gathering your sale items. All donations to the Recycle Sale are tax-deductible within legal limits. In addition, the Preserve staff always appreciate help in cleaning up after the big sale. Contact us if you can help out! |
